These terms apply to techcheckpoint.com, the videos and posts published by Tech Checkpoint, and Tech Checkpoint Publisher, our internal publishing tool. By using them, you agree to these terms.
Educational content only
Our videos explain how scams work and share general online-safety practices. They are for general education and are not legal, financial, or professional advice. Scams change quickly; information may become outdated. Always verify with official sources — such as your bank, the FTC, or the organization involved — before acting.
AI-generated content
Narration in our videos is generated by AI text-to-speech, and some imagery is AI-generated or illustrative. Scripts are researched and reviewed before publishing. Phone numbers, web addresses, names, and messages shown in example "scam" screens are fictional or modified for illustration; do not call or visit them.
Tech Checkpoint Publisher and YouTube
Tech Checkpoint Publisher is used only by Tech Checkpoint to publish our own content. It uses YouTube API Services. By using any part of our service that relies on YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. See our Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Intellectual property
Our videos, logo, and website content belong to Tech Checkpoint. You may share links to our content freely. Company and product names mentioned in our videos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify and describe them; their use does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or that those companies were involved in any scam described.
Third-party links
We may link to other websites and services. We are not responsible for their content or practices. If we ever receive compensation for a link (for example, an affiliate link), we will clearly disclose it.
No warranty; limitation of liability
Our content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech Checkpoint is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, our content.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
